[ Brian + Denise Wedding ]

On December 4th, 2011 we headed out to the beautiful city of Carlsbad to photograph Brian and Denise’s wedding. Both the ceremony and reception took place at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resortwhere the weather was nice and breezy. This was our first time meeting Brian and Denise but it was not long before we hit it off and were having a fun time taking photos. It’s always nice to hear the story of how couples meet. These two met while taking their dogs to a local dog park, how cool is that! We thank you both for having us out for your big day, and looking forward to seeing you again sometime! Congrats!

And the story begins…

[ Garrett & Lindsey Wedding ]

Garrett & Lindsey were married recently at the Serendipity Gardenin Oak Glen, California. It was a beautiful day, and you’ll see from the pictures to follow, everyone had a fun time celebrating this couple’s Big Day. One of the cool things about the wedding was that it somewhat matched the mountain-camping theme we went for during our engagement session at the beginning of Summer. Below are some of the photos from that session, followed by photos from the wedding:

Now on to the Big Day!

[ Randy & Alma Wedding ]

The last time we got together with Randy and Alma was during their engagement photo session at Cal Poly last winter. We had so much fun and I knew their wedding was going to be a blast! This couple photographs so well together, and you can see the love between them in each shot.

The first few stops during the day were all within 5 minutes of each other, which allowed for us to have plenty of time with both the groom and the bride getting ready. It always plays in the photographer’s favor when the bride and groom are getting ready close by.

During the time Alma was getting here make-up done, we had a good amount of time with the dress, shoes and other accessories. Got to try some different things, lots to choose from at this house!
Time to get that dress on!
Always nice to see our engagement photos used as decor at ceremonies and receptions :-)
Here comes the bride…
On to some portraits – the ladies – all looking beautiful

[ Favio + Claudia Wedding ]

Favio and Claudia were a fun couple to photograph; they were so silly and we shared many laughs behind the scenes of both their engagement shoot and wedding. For the engagement shoot, Favio and Claudia had the idea to go to the Huntington Library, one of their favorite date spots. The place is huge and has so many cool spots to shoot. Afterwards we headed to Downtown Pasadena to finish up our session.

Their wedding was at the Coco Palm Restaurant . Beautiful place, great food! The restaurant serves Cuban cuisine, and since Rob and I are part Cuban, we were raised on a few Cuban dishes that our grandmother would cook up. Delicious! Coco Palm also has an amazing view of the city from an outdoor patio area. Great venue if you’re looking for a place. It was also a pleasure to work alongside Ricky and Natashia from VNext Media (click HERE for a highlight video they made for the wedding). Great cinematographers and they did not get in the way of our shots, very nice and respectful couple. Thanks guys!
