[ Ramon's 80th Birthday - The Cannery ]

Family and friends of Ramon Moreno gathered together at The Cannery in Newport Beach, California to celebrate his 80th birthday. It was a nice day by the beach, and a great time capturing photos at a beautiful place, with great people, for such a special occasion. If you are ever in the area, you have to stop by this place and give their gigantic rib-eye steak or sea bass a try, amazing!

It was a surprise birthday party. Ramon was under the impression that he was going to have a dinner with just a few people. Little did he know, upstairs was a room filled with his closest family and friends, some he hadn’t seen in a very long time. Surprise!

One of my favorite parts of the night was the speeches. The emotion, the laugther, the memories shared.

Another season has begun for the 2011 MLS Champion Los Angeles Galaxy. At the beginning of training camp each season, the players come in for their updated head shots and this season the team put together a little behind the scenes video. -Rob

[ Randy + Breinne Engagement ]

We were excited to meet up with Randy & Breinne for a Disney engagement session. When I first met this awesome couple, they expressed their love for Disneyland and their desire to have engagement photos taken at the theme park. I hadn’t been to Disneyland in years, but they were great about guiding us around the park. One of the tricky things about shooting in such a big place is mapping out the best time to take each shot. As time progressed throughout our photo session, we found ourselves in a race to get to the right places at the right times, it was fun! Disneyland is a colorful place with lots to do and plenty of cool backdrops for pictures. It was great working with Randy & Breinne and we look forward to shooting their wedding later this year at the Brookside Equestrian !

Randy & Breinne brought some props with them to the session. They have fun together, and I think this photo truly speaks of their outgoing personalities. Thats always the goal on our engagement shoots; to allow couples to be themselves and capture genuine moments of their love.

Whats a Disneyland photo session without some Tea Cup shots?! The last time I went on the Tea Cups was when I was just a young little chap. Since then I’ve grown about 4+ feet…so it was funny trying to squeeze by 6’2″ frame into those tiny things…haha!

Couldn’t hold a straight face for too long…haha

On December 4th, 2011 we headed out to the beautiful city of Carlsbad to photograph Brian and Denise’s wedding. Both the ceremony and reception took place at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resortwhere the weather was nice and breezy. This was our first time meeting Brian and Denise but it was not long before we hit it off and were having a fun time taking photos. It’s always nice to hear the story of how couples meet. These two met while taking their dogs to a local dog park, how cool is that! We thank you both for having us out for your big day, and looking forward to seeing you again sometime! Congrats!
